Ahora recuerdo por qué de niño evitaba leer prolongadamente las tiras de Snoopy-Charlie Brown, son sinceramente brutales y paradójicamente humorísticas. Schulz no es cosa que un niño esté equipado para entender del todo. Creo que si las tiras de Quino han sido un termómetro de la psique del hombre y condición de la clase media, las tiras de Schulz son, como dice Art Spiegelman, Filosofía de Camiseta. Drama y crisis humanos dosificados sabiamente, diariamente. Creo que ahora puedo sí puedo irme a leer Peanuts sin empacho, Salud.
